New Blog to Check Out: Josh's Muse

There's a new link in my "Gun Blogs" category on the sidebar: Josh's Muse. It's a nice blend of gun-related topics and what he's listening to on his iPod, along with some random thoughts.

Sound familiar?

He also is a proud owner of the best semi-automatic pistol ever designed. But hey, I might be a little biased.

Check him out if you're so inclined.

New Gunleather

I've been using plastic holsters for awhile. In about the middle of May, I figured my Hi-Power deserved a nice holster to ride in. After lots of looking I ordered a custom holster from D.M. Bullard Leather. The projected wait time (since he's a one-man outfit with very high demand) was October. Ahead of schedule, my holster arrived. Pictures and review below the jump.

Late Night Photo Post

Here's a look at my first handgun. It's a 9mm FN Hi-Power. If you've heard of a Browning Hi-Power, this is exactly the same thing, but this one was made in Belgium and imported through my hometown of Columbia, SC. I thought this would be a good first picture to take you through the night.
