Every time I go to Court I see these rules violated by guys who don't wear jackets very often. For goodness sakes, y'all. If you sit down, unbutton your blazer.
My preference is the one button or three button single breasted. Unless you're Cary Grant. Then, well... it doesn't matter, does it?
I also read the other two suit articles and the one about canvassed v fused is good. Women need to pay attention to that too. Even though fusible shaping materials are much better than they used to be, I don't think it's possible to get a really good lapel roll with fusing. In women's jackets, this is going to double the price. At least.
