Ok, it's just starting to get kind of ridiculous now. You know how the healthcare.gov website has been "less than optimal" so far? Well, President Obama decided host a teleconference event for his most ardent supporters (Organizing for Action). Supporters were going to be able to go to a special website and hear the streaming audio of the conference call.
Guess what? That's right.
The website didn't work very well. You can't even make this stuff up. No one would believe you.
So, let's see if I have this right: In response to a failed website, the President sets up a website to encourage his most loyal followers to "keep fighting"(whatever that means) but the message doesn't get through because that website doesn't work.
I'm starting to feel sorry for the Obama at this point. Ok, wait. That moment passed.
Carry on.
I find the whole mess quite entertaining. One of the more entertaining facts is Obama , in the Rose Garden, reading the letter of a thankful constituent from Washington State who was delighted with the policy she had gotten from her state obamacare website. Two weeks later it was discovered the state website was wrong, she could not afford coverage and she will have to pay the $95 tax fine.
ReplyDeleteOh- an important detail- this lady from Washington State HAD insurance before Obamacare
