Unemployment time! The graph itself is not really depressing. Mostly, it shows the absolute failure of our government to do anything to stop the recession. Remember when it was absolutely necessary to pass the huge stimulus to "save or create" jobs? Here's how it's working out (or not working out):
Aren't you glad that we spent all that stimulus money? Maybe we should have just put it under a mattress or maybe invested in gold. Anyway, it looks like we're stuck at nine percent unemployment in the short term. If you're reading this at work, be glad you have a job. Sorry to harsh on your Friday buzz; we'll get some more light stuff later in the day.
