You may be familiar with Columbia's new marketing line "Famously Hot". I heard someone proposed changing just the first word - but still having the first word start with the letter "F".
Since it's Famously hot today, here's a happy hour drink to beat the heat (below the jump)
The Brooklyn Brewery makes a wonderful summer ale that a medium golden color. The nose is a mix of grain and lemon with some wheat notes. The flavor is a mix of wheat and some light hops. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is very drinkable. This is a beer that would be equally at home at a ball game or a white table-cloth dinner. Morganelli's over on Forest Drive sells them by the box and puts them on special every once in awhile. If I could find this in a can, it would be the perfect beach beer. Until then, keep the glass off the beach, and keep living the Permanent Press Lifestyle.
